Analysts should be aware that (depending on the equipment purchased) there are up to four (4) low voltage power supplies, each with its own unique device. All of the power supplies/chargers have similar output connectors and can be easily plugged into the incorrect device. Analysts need to be aware and use common sense to ensure the proper charger is plugged into the appropriate device. |

The internal power supply/charger (This is the larger of the two battery chargers with a slightly longer output connector, P/N 02179) for the RECIP-TRAP has a 24Vdc output at 3.0A and has a positive DC centerpost and a negative outer conductor. It is designed to power up the RECIP-TRAP when the battery has lost its charge and no spare is available.
As a charger, it is meant only to charge the battery while it is inside the RECIP-TRAP. IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED FOR CHARGING THE SPARE BATTERY WITH THE EXTERNAL CRADLE. DOING SO WILL CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE CRADLE AND/OR BATTERY!

The sole purpose of this charger (P/N 010X-100879, made by IBM) is to be used in conjunction with the Gateway Cradle Model #BC8, Dynalco's P/N 010X-100880, or P/N 01247. It has a 19Vdc output at 2.4A and has a positive DC centerpost and a negative outer conductor.
This charger CAN be used to charge the RECIP-TRAP battery while it is inside the trap, however, IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO POWER THE ENTIRE TRAP WHILE CHARGING THE BATTERY.

This charger has the distinction of being labeled by DYNALCO with P/N 02103. The label states it is for the BETA-LINK. This charger has an output of 12 Vdc at 500mA and has a negative DC centerpost and a positive outer conductor.
DO NOT USE THIS CHARGER FOR THE RECIP-TRAP BATTERIES AS THE POLARITY IS THE OPPOSITE ON THE OUTPUT AND COULD DAMAGE THE CHARGER AND/OR EQUIPMENT IT IS PLUGGED INTO. Basically, you will end up frying your charger.

This charger is a Monarch Instrument Model R5 Recharger used with DYNALCO's Optical Eye Kit, P/N 26447. This charger has an output of 7.5 Vdc at 300 mA and has a positive DC centerpost and a negative outer conductor. The sole purpose of this charger is for recharging the Ni-Cd batteries that are internal to the Monarch Instrument SPS-5 signal conditioner.
